An awful philosophical question to open with, but alright…

My name is Alexis Powell, you killed my father, prepare to die!

Nope, that’s not it, let me recap, no that will take too long, let me sum up.

My name is Alexis Powell but I am not a Spaniard, (although I am a bit of a nerd) I have spent most of my life in study of mythology, archetypes, hero arcs, spirituality, nature, and the question of why we are here, what our purpose in life is really all about.

Through my work I do my best to explain to people, the kind of world I have come to understand and appreciate, to invite them into the rich symbolism and co-creative world in which I and every other living being already exist (in my books it is stretched a bit for good storytelling, but the basis is still there!)

For as long as I have been on this road, I find new twists and turns that beg for further inquiry, and I believe for as long as I am on this plane that will continue to be true.

I love dogs, chocolate cake for breakfast, being barefoot and alone in nature, dresses that twirl when you spin, and meeting people that restore faith in humanity.
